Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk preferably whole milk for creaminess
  • 2 tbsp sugar syrup can substitute with honey or agave syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract optional, for added flavor
  • 2 cups ice cubes adjust for desired crunchiness

Equipment

  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Blender

Method

  1. Measure out the milk, sugar syrup, and vanilla extract, then pour them into a blender.
  2. Add the ice cubes to the blender, filling it up to about two-thirds full.
  3. Blend on high speed until the mixture is icy and slushy, with small, crunchy ice particles forming a uniform texture.
  4. Stop the blender and check the consistency; if it's too thick, splash in a little more milk and pulse briefly to loosen the texture.
  5. Transfer the slushie mixture into chilled glasses, spooning it in carefully to showcase the icy layers.
  6. Top with whipped cream and sprinkles if desired, and serve immediately with a spoon. Enjoy the crunchy, snow-like treat!

Notes

For an extra flavor twist, add fruit puree or chocolate syrup before blending. To prevent ice from clumping, serve immediately after blending.
