Ingredients
  

  • 1 bottle rosé wine chilled
  • 1 cup fresh citrus juice grapefruit or lemon for brightness
  • 1/4 cup honey optional, for sweetness
  • 1 cup fresh herbs basil, mint, or a mix, roughly chopped
  • 2 cups ice cubes

Method
 

  1. Pour the chilled rosé wine into a large mixing bowl or pitcher.
  2. Add the fresh citrus juice to the wine, then stir gently to combine, releasing a citrus aroma.
  3. Stir in honey if you desire a slightly sweeter slushie, mixing until the honey dissolves completely.
  4. Fold in the chopped fresh herbs, gently pressing to release their fragrant oils into the mixture.
  5. Add the ice cubes to the blender, then pour in the herbal- citrus mixture.
  6. Blend on high until the mixture is thick and slushy, with a smooth, icy texture that looks slightly frosted.
  7. Taste the slushie and adjust sweetness or herbs if needed by blending briefly again.
  8. Scoop the frozen rosé slushie into glasses and garnish with additional herbs or citrus slices if desired.

Notes

For an extra touch, include thin citrus slices or sprigs of herbs as garnish for a beautiful presentation.
