Ingredients

  • 1 packet Kool Aid powder any flavor
  • 1 cup water hot or cold, depending on preference
  • 2 cups ice cubes preferably frozen ahead
  • 1-2 tablespoons sugar or sweetener (optional, adjust to taste)

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Measuring cups or spoons

Method

  1. Pour the Kool Aid powder into a blender and add the water, then blend briefly to dissolve the powder completely, releasing a sweet, fragrant aroma.
  2. Add the ice cubes into the blender, distributing them evenly over the liquid Kool Aid mixture.
  3. Sprinkle in the sugar or sweetener if you like it extra sweet, then blend all ingredients on high until the mixture is thick, slushy, and the ice is finely crushed—about 30 to 60 seconds.
  4. Check the consistency; if it’s too liquid, add more ice cubes and blend again until desired thickness is achieved.
  5. Once the mixture is thick, vibrant, and scoopable with a spoon, pour into chilled glasses for an extra refreshing experience.
  6. Serve immediately with a straw or a spoon, marveling at the bright color and frosty texture.

Notes

For best results, chill the glasses beforehand. Adjust sweetness and flavor intensity with more Kool Aid or sweetener as desired.
