- Measure out the fresh lemon juice and pour it into the blender.
- Add the cold water and simple syrup to the blender with the lemon juice.
- Drop in the ice cubes into the blender, filling up to the top to ensure a frosty texture.
- Secure the lid on the blender and blend on high speed for about 30 seconds, until the mixture is smooth and icy with a snow-like consistency.
- Check the texture; if it’s too thick, add a splash more water and pulse briefly to loosen it up.
- Pour the slushie into glasses and garnish with a lemon wedge or a sprig of mint if desired.
Notes
For an extra burst of flavor, add a few fresh mint leaves before blending.
