Method
- Place the Oreo cookies in a resealable plastic bag and gently crush them into small chunks using a rolling pin or the bottom of a glass.
- Add the crushed Oreos, chilled milk, ice cubes, and sugar (if using) into your blender.
- Secure the lid on the blender and blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and icy, about 30-60 seconds. You should see a thick, slushy texture with bits of cookie dispersed throughout.
- Pause the blender and check the consistency. If it’s too thick, add a splash more milk and blend briefly to loosen it. If it’s too runny, add a few more ice cubes and blend again.
- Pour the Oreo slushie into glasses, allowing the icy, creamy mixture to fill each cup to the brim.
- Garnish with a crushed Oreo or a small cookie on top if desired, and serve immediately with a straw or spoon for scooping.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use full-fat milk. You can also add a splash of vanilla extract for extra depth.
